You are the Colours You Choose

personalities of every colourYour intuition knows exactly how to keep you in perfect balance. It does this by directing you towards the colours you need.

The Birth of Your Personality

From the moment you are born you choose colours intuitively. They will be the colours with the energy that  best supports you and your nature.  Usually the one that becomes your favourite is your Soul Colour, aka  your colour personality.

External Influences

As we get closer to the age of reason (around seven), our intuition often takes a back seat and other people begin to influence our choices –  parents, teachers, family and friends, even the media.  Although these influences are well intended they can create conflict with the path that is most natural to us. If we begin to ignore our intuition we may end up battling life, all of our life.

The Soul Keeps Nudging

Never fear though, the soul never gives up. It nudges you to select colour all through  your life. Your Soul Colour is always a stayer no matter what else or who else influences you.  Then there are action colours, these are the ones that your soul knows will help you create the changes you need.  I’m sure you remember times when you kept choosing red and then other times when you went for blue for no apparent reason. Let me tell you, there is always a reason.

Colour Transforms Attitudes

Colour changes the energy around you, it inspires you to act differently. The exciting part about colour choice comes when you understand the message behind the colour you’ve chosen. It’s the easiest way to get direction from your soul. Below I’ve created a brief list of the possible message behind a sudden attraction to a certain colour.

The Possible Messages in Your Colour Choices

Red: It’s time to act on your passion for something or someone, start a new project or increase your exercise.

Orange: You need to be adventurous or creative, step out of your comfort zone, or not be pigeon-holed with what you do.

Yellow: It’s time to re-focus, there is something you need to study, or it’s time you use your social skills to create important connections.

Green: You need to get organized, your life is out of balance, or you need to re-connect with nature.

Blue: You need some peace and quiet, you need to communicate your feelings or you need to make sure you are getting the respect and love you so rightly deserve.

Indigo: You need some alone time, your dreams are trying to give you messages or you need to re-establish self-respect.

Violet: Your soul wants you to connect with spirit, re-connect with nature or to use your artistic skills to bring you closer to your dreams.

Magenta: Stop bouncing around, focus on your strengths, tie up all your loose ends and work on the big picture.

White: You need clarity, some time-out is needed and spiritual connection, it’s time you nurtured yourself.

Black: Protect yourself from heartbreak, don’t let others change who you are, it’s time to take your power back.

Brown: Check your financial security, keep yourself grounded, don’t leap into anything right now.

Detailed Posts about what it means when you find yourself drawn to certain colours are listed below. I created all the characters for my novel Arkrealm The Apprentice, using my colour personality system. The novel helps readers understand how different colour personalities relate both in everyday life and in the world of Arkrealm.

Attracted to red

Attracted to orange

Attracted to yellow

All of the colours will be listed soon.  Make the most of your colour choices this week.

Bye, Dee.

Your website looks nice, but the post seemed like an odd combination on a wedding site. Would also like to see some pics on your post.

I am using the WordPress free option at present for my young adult website, and think it is a good place to start. The Arkrealm site is also WordPress, but in association with Balboa Press, so not sure of which option they use.

I have a website for young adults who want to share their writing. Some time ago I also came across a platform for writers to share their work. Have a look at this website. http://writeonedge.com/
    I hope this helps.

Very good blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go
for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely overwhelmed ..
    Any tips? Thanks a lot!

credit and sources back to your weblog? My website
is in the very same niche as yours and my
users would definitely benefit from some of the information you
provide here. Please let me know if this alright with you.
    Thank you!

My pleasure. I’m putting up the rest of the colours you may be attracted to over the next week and also a post about “Who are you?”, which emphasizes the importance of recognizing what’s deep in your soul to help you reach your dreams.

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My site has a lot of unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization. Do you know any ways to help prevent content from being stolen? I’d genuinely appreciate it.
